The Moroccan Caftan was showcased in all its glory at a fashion show held at the opulent Meydan Dubai Palace. The event featured the participation of 20 couture houses from Morocco and other countries.
From the moment the first model graced the runway in a white caftan adorned with a golden star, the audience was captivated by the elegance and allure of this traditional Moroccan garment, remaining spellbound throughout the show.
The event's initiator and organizer of Caftan Du Maroc Dubai emphasized in a press statement that the designs, presented under the theme "Oriental Refinement," were created with a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements. The collections faithfully represented the unique characteristics of the purely Moroccan caftan, while also incorporating a modern twist to appeal to new generations.
Caftan Du Maroc serves as Morocco's unequivocal ambassador on the international stage, with more than 30 fashion shows held in various countries worldwide. The event is more than just a fashion show; it spotlights Moroccan craftsmanship and showcases the best designers from the Kingdom, as well as the cultural heritage of an ancient nation.
The event attracted an array of journalists and influencers. Among the participating designers were: Amine Mrani, Azfar Création, Ihssan Ghziel, Inesaf Beneissa, Jamila Lahssini, Nawal Al Ansari, Rachida Lahbabi, Rafinity Haute Couture, Selma Boulcina (Algeria), and Siham Ihssan.
